1. Services Provided: Meredith Alexander (referred to as "the Advisor") offers travel planning and booking services. The Advisor will work with the client to create customized travel itineraries and make reservations on their behalf.
2. Fees and Payment: The client agrees to pay the Advisor for services as described on this website. Payment methods and any applicable deposit requirements will be specified in writing. Invoicing will arrive to client’s email inbox from the finance office of Fora Travel.
3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation policies may vary depending on the travel suppliers involved (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators). Refund requests will be handled as per the policies of the respective travel suppliers. Advisor will always book REFUNDABLE rates unless otherwise discussed with client.
No refund will be awarded for planning fees once planning has commenced.
The Advisor strongly recommends that the client obtain suitable travel insurance, which is available through the Advisor’s services.
4. When booking flights, an automatic ticketing fee of $50 will be added per ticket, providing client with 24/7 support through Advisor’s flight desk. Airlines have the right to change aircraft at the last minute without notification to the Advisor, flight desk, or client. Due to this behavior, your seat is never 100% guaranteed, .
5. Travel Documents and Vaccines: The client is solely responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (with at least six months' validity remaining beyond the travel dates and two consecutive blank pages), any required visas, UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), International Driving Permit (IDP), recommended or required vaccinations, and any other necessary travel documents for their destination. The advisor does not verify these requirements and is not liable for denied entry, travel delays, or other consequences resulting from the traveler's failure to meet them.
6. Changes to Itinerary: If the client requests changes to their travel itinerary, the Advisor will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these changes, subject to availability and any applicable fees from travel suppliers. Fees will be charged for changes after the third iteration.
7. Travel Supplier Terms: The client agrees to review and comply with the terms and conditions of travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators, as these terms will apply to their bookings.
8. Liability: The Advisor is not liable for factors beyond their control, including but not limited to; accidents, illness, delays, weather, geopolitical unrest, or acts of nature, which may affect the client's travel plans.
9. Client Responsibilities: The client is responsible for providing accurate information to the Advisor and complying with all travel and health requirements, such as vaccination or testing requirements.
10. Complaints and Disputes: Any complaints or disputes should be communicated to the Advisor as soon as possible. The Advisor will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be subject to applicable dispute resolution mechanisms.
11. Privacy and Data Protection: The Advisor will handle the client's personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Client’s credit card information will be stored in the password protected Vault.
12. Termination of Services: The Advisor reserves the right to terminate services if the client breaches the terms of this agreement or engages in inappropriate or disruptive behavior during the course of their planning or their travels.
13. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, and any legal disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of this jurisdiction.
14. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the client and the Advisor.
15. Changes to Terms and Conditions: The Advisor reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, and any changes will be communicated to the client in writing.
16. Client Acknowledgment: By commencing work with the Advisor, client is accepting these Terms and Conditions, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms herein.
