Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided: Meredith Alexander (referred to as "the Advisor") offers travel planning and booking services. The Advisor will work with the client to create customized travel itineraries and make reservations on their behalf.

2. Fees and Payment: The client agrees to pay the Advisor for services as described on this website. Payment methods and any applicable deposit requirements will be specified in writing. Invoicing will arrive to client’s email inbox from the finance office of Fora Travel.

3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation policies may vary depending on the travel suppliers involved (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators). The Advisor will inform the client of these policies, and the client is responsible for any associated fees. Refund requests will be handled as per the policies of the respective travel suppliers. No refund will be awarded for planning fees once planning has commenced.

4. Travel Documents and Insurance: The client is responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents. The Advisor strongly recommends that the client obtain suitable travel insurance, which may be available through the Advisor’s services. *Be sure that passports do not expire less than 7 months from departure date.

5. Changes to Itinerary: If the client requests changes to their travel itinerary, the Advisor will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these changes, subject to availability and any applicable fees from travel suppliers.

6. Travel Supplier Terms: The client agrees to review and comply with the terms and conditions of travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators, as these terms will apply to their bookings.

7. Liability: The Advisor is not liable for factors beyond their control, including but not limited to accidents, illness, delays, or acts of nature, which may affect the client's travel plans.

8. Client Responsibilities: The client is responsible for providing accurate information to the Advisor and complying with all travel and health requirements, such as vaccination or testing requirements.

9. Complaints and Disputes: Any complaints or disputes should be communicated to the Advisor as soon as possible. The Advisor will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be subject to applicable dispute resolution mechanisms.

10. Privacy and Data Protection: The Advisor will handle the client's personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Client’s credit card information will be stored in the password protected Vault.

11. Termination of Services: The Advisor reserves the right to terminate services if the client breaches the terms of this agreement or engages in inappropriate or disruptive behavior during the course of their planning or their travels.

12. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, and any legal disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of this jurisdiction.

13. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the client and the Advisor.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions: The Advisor reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, and any changes will be communicated to the client in writing.

15. Client Acknowledgment: By commencing work with the Advisor, client is accepting these Terms and Conditions, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms herein.
