Why Travel Insurance Matters
Travel insurance is one of those things you hope you never need — and are incredibly grateful for when you do. A single unexpected event, whether a medical emergency or a family situation at home, can mean the loss of thousands of dollars in non-refundable costs.
Insurance protects that investment and lets you travel with genuine peace of mind.
This is especially important for clients with elderly parents or young children. Life doesn't pause while you're preparing for a trip, and if something requires you to cancel, the right coverage means you can act immediately without financial loss compounding an already difficult situation.
Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)
CFAR is the most flexible option available and one I always recommend considering. It allows you to “cancel for ANY reason” — including simply a change of heart — and recoup up to 75% of your non-refundable costs, no questions asked. In some cases, you may even get 100% back, once explaining the situation. This must be purchased within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, you must cancel at least 48 hours before departure, and it is available in all U.S. states except New York.
I work with Faye Travel Insurance, a Fora preferred partner, and can help you explore your options at the time of booking. My strong advice — don't wait. The sooner you insure after booking, the more protected you are.
